Mikky receives Martin Laird

Congratulations to Mikhaila Dignam who has been voted the winner of the 2016 Martin Laird Achievement Award.

Universities can only nominate one person from their club for the award. From this list, the AFDA then select five finalists that are then voted on by each of the University clubs across Australia.

We are so proud of what Mikky has been able to achieve within our club, both on the field and off, and we are glad that her efforts have been recognised. Well done Deakin, the AFDA, and the University Ultimate community for choosing such a worthy recipient.

Here is Mikhaila’s nomination:

Currently on the Deakin Ultimate Frisbee committee Mikhaila has been an outstanding asset to the club devoting time both on and off field in development, organisational, and field leadership roles for the last 2 years prix du viagra au quebec. On top of that she has worked tirelessly to improve her offensive and defensive game and as such has represented Australia playing for both the Stingrays U23 womens team at WJU23C 2015 and the Australian Firetails at the WUGC 2016. She has also been a valuable member of her club team Ellipsis, who were champions at the Australian Ultimate Championships this year. Playing as number 53 for both Deakin and Australia I believe she would be an exemplary recipient of the Martin Laird award for both her on and off field achievements.
