Meet the people who work tirelessly to ensure the club is a place for everyone.
President
Sally has been the Vice President of Ellipsis Ultimate since 2020. She works in strategy for a global snacking company and loves to provide the club with chocolate and chips. Sally thrives in the close-knit Ellipsis community and culture, and her goals are to ensure Ellipsis supports people in not only their ultimate development, but their personal development too.
Treasurer
Amanda has been the Treasurer of Ellipsis Ultimate since 2019 and was previously on the Ellipsis Board in 2016 during the inaugural women’s team season. Amanda’s goal is to ensure Ellipsis Ultimate flourishes as an elite club and community and to drive change in Ultimate through the club, leveraging her skills as a management consultant. Amanda has previously been on the boards of the Australian Flying Disc Association (2011 – 2014) and Monash Ultimate (2013 – 2015).
Secretary
Dan has been the Secretary of Ellipsis Ultimate since 2019. He works as a primary school teacher in Colac. His goals are to continue supporting Ellipsis Ultimate to set the benchmark for professionalism and performance in Australian Ultimate, and to support younger players in their development on and off the field. Dan has previously been the President of Fyshwick Ultimate in Canberra from 2016 – 2017.
General Rep
Alex is a new addition to the 2021 Ellipsis Ultimate board. She has previously been on the Deakin Ultimate board as Vice President in 2018, and Secretary in 2020. She is currently studying a double Bachelor degree of Exercise and Sport Science/Sport Management at Deakin University. Alex aims to support the club in maintaining an inclusive club culture that empowers women through ultimate on the off the field.
General Rep
Pete has been on the Ellipsis Ultimate Board since 2020. Previously, he has previously been on the Board of WA Ultimate (2010 – 2012) and was a member on the Sublime Ultimate Club Board, including serving as its first President from 2013 – 2014. Peter is a teacher and is the Head of Mathematics at Richmond High School. Pete’s aim is to help shape Ellipsis Ultimate into the premier club in Australia and be recognised as an elite club in the world ultimate scene.
General Rep
Crystal has been on the Ellipsis Ultimate Board since 2018. She works for a School Sports Association that administers to 24 Independent Girls’ Schools in metropolitan Melbourne. Her goals are to create an inclusive environment where the Ellipsis community feels valued and wants to be involved even after playing.
General Rep
Cat is the former inaugural President of Ellipsis Ultimate who brings a wealth of knowledge both as an elite player having represented Australia at the World Games in 2013, 2017 and 2022 and National Womens team, the Fire Tails, and key governor of Australian Ultimate, spear-heading the Ultimate Australia Tour in 2020.
General Rep
Tracey has been on the Board of Ellipsis Ultimate since 2019. Her goals are to help develop the sport around Australia and provide opportunities for the club to build positive relationships with the wider community. Tracey currently works at a large accounting firm and was previously the secretary of an academic students’ association while at university.
