2019 Ellipsis Men’s Leadership group

Ellipsis Ultimate is excited to bring you the 2019 Ellipsis Men’s Leadership group.

This group will work together with the Women’s team leadership and the Ellipsis board to plan the upcoming season for the club.

Rob Andrews (Colony)Rob Andrews
Rob has had an action packed few years, coming off successful campaigns with the Aussie Crocs, Dingos, Goannas, and Colony. Rob is a fantastic teammate and will bring his special personality to the team, along with his massive defensive bids and unstoppable workrate. Rob has played with the Ellipsis mixed team at both Manila Spirits and the Zone Cup.

Timocles Copland (Heads of State, Mammoth)
Timocles takes on every challenge that’s thrown at him, comfortably playing offence or defence in any on-field role. His distribution and give-go offence is balanced by his defensive fitness and footwork, and we’re excited to learn from him over the coming months. This will be Timocles first time playing with the club.

Pete Eley (Colony, Sublime)
Pete EleyPete joined Ellipsis Mixed in 2017 for the Vietnam Zone Cup and he hasn’t looked back since. Moving to Melbourne to continue his playing career, Pete has already been a massive contributor to the club during the recent Ellipsis WUCC campaign. With many years’ experience leading Sublime Ultimate and a recent Dingos campaign under his belt, Pete will bring a different perspective to the Ellipsis Men’s leadership group.

Dan Matthews-Hunter (Heads of State, Fyshwick)
Dan MH has made a name for himself playing for the Australian Bluebottles and Barramundis, and also comes back to Ellipsis after starting out on our Mixed team winning the US Open with us in 2015. Dan’s willingness to throw himself around on defence, as well as his throwing skill and decision making ability, sets him apart and makes him a huge asset on any team.

Tom Tulett (Colony)
Tom TulettTom has been a part of the Ellipsis Mixed team since the very beginning in 2013, and we’re excited to have him back now in a more formal leadership capacity. He has a wealth of experience at the international level, most notably captaining Colony to their recent WUCC silver medal and playing for the Aussie Crocs at the 2017 World Games, and is committed to sharing his frisbee knowledge with those around him.

Welcome to the club guys! We look forward to seeing what season 2019 will bring!
